For God’s Christian, death is the key to unlock the door to
eternal life. On Thursday, August 5, 2021, Annie Ruth
Holmes’ key did just that.
She was born Annie Ruth Holmes on March 24, 1949, to
the late Deacon Robert Spikes and Annie Mae Spikes.
Annie Ruth received her formal education through
Millville High School in Dublin, GA.
Forty-seven years ago, Minister Annie Ruth along with her
children relocated to Miami, Florida where she began
working as a beautician. She work for several local funeral
homes and also as a paraprofessional at Sharon School of
Minister Annie Ruth Holmes was a faithful member of
Faith Deliverance Cathedral under the leadership of Dr.
James A. Rorie. She served in a number of capacities in the
church to include as a Minister Assistant, Praise Dancer and
on the Outreach Ministry. There was no doubt that she
loved God with all of her heart.
Early that August on a Thursday morning, Minister Annie
Ruth Holmes accepted her keys to eternal life. She is
preceded in death by her mother and father, Annie Mae
Spikes and Deacon Robert Spikes; daughter: Annie Marie
Beasley and sisters, Rosa Marie Spikes, Robbie Spikes, and
She leaves to cherish her legacy and memories four
children: Jimmy Beasley (Shawanda) and Gregory Beasley,
Sherryl Beasley-Riley (Reginald) and Larry Blash (Sheila)
17 grandchildren: Tamesha, Jimmy, Brandy, Mikeevia,
TaWanda, Rick, Jimaury, Jeffrey, Ashley, Bianca,
Giovanni, Andre, Shaquanda, Derricka, Terell, Myra,
Nova; 13 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces nephews
other relatives and soaring friends
